This course is designed to provide aspiring real estate agents with a pathway to get oriented to the Keller Williams resources and community. Through a combination of interactive activities and useful information, participants will learn about the benefits and pitfalls of the industry, how to become a real estate professional, and resources Keller Wiliams has to offer to help you succeed.

Course Goals

  • Learn about the realities of real estate sales: You will develop a greater understanding of what to expect during your first year in real estate sales in the US, including the potential pitfalls and opportunities for making money. Also learn why it is important to consider potential niche areas and how to identify them.
  • Understand the costs and requirements of becoming a real estate agent: You will learn about the fees and credentials required to become a real estate agent in the US and how to navigate the process of obtaining a license. Importantly, you will also learn about the benefits of joining Keller Williams and the RESIDE program.
  • Explore Keller Williams Market Centers: You will learn about the over 900 Keller Williams Market Centers in the US and how to get in touch with Team Leaders to learn more about local opportunities.
  • Discover KScore and KWPrep: Learn about KScore and KWPrep, two tools offered by Keller Williams to help agents succeed in real estate sales. You also be introduced to the incentives for using these tools over state schools.
  • Explore Keller Williams resources: You will learn about the resources available to you at Keller Williams, including programs, technology, communities, courses, events, and vendors and partners, and how to leverage these resources to grow your business.
  • Become part of the RESIDE community: Discover the benefits of remaining part of the RESIDE community once you are licensed and how to continue to receive support and training from Keller Williams.

By the end of this course, you should have a solid understanding of the RESIDE program and the tools and resources available to you as a real estate professional. You should have also developed a plan for success in your first year of sales and beyond, which will equip you well to start building your career in real estate with Keller Williams.
